Skin Texturing - Advanced Lookdev

This project focuses on expanding my skills in advanced look development. I’ve been exploring a wide range of techniques, including creating realistic skin textures for creatures and studying the layered approach to human skin shaders—understanding how blue, red, and yellow subsurface layers interact and differ across species.

I also worked on XGen grooming, developing hair systems from scratch, and creating detailed environment materials such as velvet, marble, concrete, and more.

In addition, I strengthened my foundation in lighting, learning the importance of establishing a strong key light, shaping the scene with supporting illumination, and using artificial lights to enhance highlights and bring out material detail.
